Asia Critical to Incentia's Plans for Growth and Success

SANTA CLARA, Calif. & SEOUL, Korea--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 26, 2001--Incentia Design Systems, Inc., an EDA company in the ASIC timing analysis and synthesis market, announced today that it is implementing its technical support and distribution plan for Asia. Davan Tech Co., Ltd of Korea has signed an agreement to be Incentia's exclusive distributor and Incentia is finalizing negotiations with other distribution partners in the Pacific Rim.

Incentia's ASIC timing analysis and synthesis tools are well suited for Asia's consumer electronics and wireless electronic designs, where high performance and smaller silicon area are critical. The Company's tools are compatible with popular flows from leading EDA companies, such as Synopsys (Nasdaq:SNPS - news), Cadence Design Systems, Inc. (NYSE:CDN - news) and Avant! Corporation (Nasdaq:AVNT - news).
